Hello, Can you please give a little more information about the car from which you are taking the other engine and transmission? Thanks CarGrrl

385

there may be difrences in the ignition wiring, such as plug ends and other various items, the camaro should have the plug that goes into the left side of the 700r4, but also be sure to check that youre not mistaken the trans out of the caprice with a 4L80E, but other than that there should be much trouble putting the 350 in the car, other than some small modificatins to the wiring if needed. hope this helps

Someone asked this question before here is the link: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/groups/CamarosAreCool/Discussions/ds171336 If you have both cars it might be easier, as seeing any harness or computer needed (not sure if your 85 is crabed or not). There is a bunch of info in the above link. Cheers, hope this helps and best of luck.
