Why doesn’t my car restart once the engine is warm?

Asked by Dwayne Jul 04, 2020 at 05:12 PM about the 2004 Lexus GX 470 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After my 2004 lexus go 470 has been sitting for
awhile, ex)overnight, it starts and runs perfectly.
The issue is if I drive it somewhere and let sit for an
hour, it wont restart. Smells like gas and the engine
just doesn’t turn over. There is some gas that
comes out of the tail pipe. What’s the issue?

I had the same problem with the light I replace the gas cap because this guy system making pressure and if the gas cap is not good it’s lighting all these lights in the dashboard
