Concerning transmission

So back during the snow we go5
this winter in Atlanta I got stuck
and tried getting my car unstuck
after getting out my car would
not shift into gear. I did some
searching for a problem and
found under the hood that when
you put it into any gear other than
park it would make a constant
clicking sound and not move any
ideas?

Ya thats what i was afraid of, the final and primary drive you are talking about would that be causing the clicking sound in the egine bay?
