Can A/C compressor be the problem if cold air does not radiate from all vents equally?

Asked by GuruMFVW May 18, 2017 at 12:59 PM about the 2006 Lexus RX Hybrid 400h FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

With A/C on, cold air comes out of some vents, but warm air out of others. Our Service manager insists that we have a leak in our compressor and it is unable to power all vents. I find this very odd. Is this possible?

it is most likely the temp door actuators behind the dash. If you have dual climate control(can control both sides separately) that is the likely culprit.
