how many miles could you put on a average 81 vett?

Im looking to buy one as my first car, it looks to be in decent condition and has about 10xxx miles on it, goin for
6500. How much would i be putting in for the up keep and how many miles can one take?

A million if you keep up the maintenance. It comes down to how much you're willing to spend on average per year and how much you like it

I agree as I have one that I purchased New and has 20K miles and have replaced brake calipers , rocker cover gaskets and cruise control and a few other items for about 3K dollars in all these years.

I agree with Rob, keep up maintenance and it will last forever. I have seen vette's with 200K miles and more.
