replacing the crossfire engine in your vette with a newer engine with more modern fuel infection will be a pain in the a, but. My recommendation for you as far as a swap goes is to get your hands on an LS1. I would personally look for a t boned Firebird or Camaro, with the 6 speed option, that way you could literally take every modern, more than a 1984 that is, application from the smashed up maro or bird and do a one for one. Or you could even swap from the frame up, body on the newer frame leaving the old junk to rot. Unless you're not looking into the GM motor realm, if thats the case then the answer all day is a ton, and i mean a ton of modifications and a 2JZ
There are a lot of after market EFI's that will swap out using your stock modules. Check Edelbrock, Summit Racing Catalog, or other reliable aftermarket parts books. If you remove the cross fire set up, keep everything as a few years down the line, someone will want the parts to rebuild their Corvette to stock. Some GM crate engines come with all hookups you need to keep going also if you want to go that way.
