What Engine in this vehicle? Do you notice any strange noises coming from the engine when your running the Heater/AC System? Any warning lights on or flashing?
Not at all, the car run perfect At all time, but if I run the AC or heater for at least 20 minute while driving and them I turn of the car the car won't crank, only if I leave it cool down for at least 20 minutes it will crank without no problem. The battery is "perfectly fine and the alternator too" according to Advance Auto part. If I don't run the AC or the heater I can turn it off and turn it back on without no problem. I already check all the fuse.
How often do you check the engine oil? Do you have to add a lot of oil between oil changes?
Zw....any thing new with this interesting issue on your car?
Hi I have the same problem. Please advise what your problem was. I have my oil replace regularly, put new battery in they checked the alternator. By the time I take it into the shop they can do a diagnosis because no codes show up.
The descrption above sounds like a weak battery We load test suspect batteries along with a thorough test of the charging system under load. Finally we check for excessive parasitic draw on the electrical system. Suggest you find a repair facility which can perform these tests. Get back with results.
It's a new battery and has a new starter too. Can it still be a weak battery. Maybe a type of sensor problem that you may know. When the car cools down it starts again.
Would you perhaps have acess to a digital volt meter? We need to know what the voltage is across the battery. I know of no sensor....which would cause this issue. Testing begins with said DVM. Do you see any corrosion on the battery terminals?
Sorry it took me to long to answer you guys, but after changing the starter and the problem didn’t stop, my mechanic and notice that when I used to turn my car off my cylinder on the starter would be very hot and mean super hot that would burn you once you touch it, so my mechanic change the negative cable that goes from the battery to the starter it and then we open the old negative cable and seems that it had a lot of corrosion but I couldn’t tell cause of the plastic cover, but I had that done and a new starter a new battery no problem at all I can run the AC and turn it off and it will turn back on without a problem and the starter cylinder stay cool all the time. So I would say this was the problem not enough ground going toward the starter. Hope this work for you guys by changing the the black cable that goes to the starter from the battery cause of the corruption build up. Good luck!
