some cars have a fuseable link in the starter cable ,when the car gets hot it expands and won't start, but when it cools it contracts making a connection

Need more symptoms to help... Does it just click? Possible starter solenoid Does it roll over but not start? could be running rich and flooding the cylinders (yes it does happen even though it is fuel injection) Are there any symptoms when driving, like a sluggish acceleration? or a rough idle? or sporadic idle?
