did you set the flywheel / to drive gap... is the nattery charged and not failing under a load... all wires good and tight?

Battery is fine. I took off old starter and put in new one. When I turn the key it hesitates for a couple seconds before it starts.

I didn't touch the fly wheel, just took off old and inserted new. Is there a setting on the fly wheel to set to the starter?
