someone put in a new spider assembly in my chevy 1500 99 model,can water get into the oil from this

had a spider assembly put into my truck. now there is water in my oil.could it have been
from someone doing something wrong in putting it in or just bad timeing

there is a "spider gear" in your pumpkin, if you've a standard differential but this is not in the path of oil or coolant~

ok i forgot to say that he had to put the Spider assembly in because the old one cracked or something and gas got into the oil and fouled the plugs.he had to break it down to the manafold at least. and now there is water in the oil and lifters are clicking and mabey messed up the bearrings. please forgive my spelling ,so with this info do you think that it could be that the guy did something wrong or didnt do the job right?
