Price. It's kind of a waste of money is you ask me. It's not like engine oil where you can extend the amount of time between oil changes. Or have that advantage of not breaking down as quickly due to high engine temps. Seriously, how often does anyone completely drain the brake system and change all the fluid just to do it? Never. Unless you broke a line and you lost all of your fluid. First it's a major pain, and second, who wants to risk getting air in the lines and just opening a can of worms? If you lost all of your fluid already, sure, put in synthetic. Won't hurt anything. You can look online for pros and cons, but I think it's just a matter of preference.
