Alternator not charging

Asked by Bucktownboy Mar 20, 2019 at 11:35 AM about the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

Changed alternator,checked battery, and
fuses. Also checked connections still won't
charge.

I got a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado couple days ago charge or the gauge Racine not charging then I will send it with charge then it wouldn't charge then we charge and it wouldn't charge then it quit doing that then I was suddenly one morning I got up to go to work it didn't charge it all okay I put a brand new alternator on it is still not charging I have traced the main hot wire coming off the alternator Spanish few for there is no fuse so now what else could it be besides that fuse
