if actuator on front axle is extending rod and engaging ,connection should be had, is transfer case engaging, and no snapped drive axles?

No snapped axles and the transfer case engages

Actuator extends, can't make any sense of it.

Turns out I should have listened to my wife this morning who suggested that it was possibly frozen. It turns out that it was in fact frozen. It is now working, Thank you for your time.

Could you give me any tips on getting the moisture/water out of the front differential. As I'm thinking there is likely water in there and that's why it froze and I couldn't get the four wheel drive to work until I defrosted it with a hair dryer.
