Check and replace air filter if necessary, clean throttle with throttle body cleaner, replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while add some Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner to gas tank. Just some general maintenance things to try first. Also clean or replace Idle Air Control valve or Mass Air Flow sensor depending on which one your vehicle has.
