Fuel pump for a 2001 two wheel drive Chevy 1500 5.3 l motor

Since the pickup has a body lift would it be easier
to drop the driveline to get to the fuel pump to
change it or do I still need to drop the fuel tank
down all the way

the driveline would just be more work in my opinion... either will work tho
