Oil pressure

Asked by Guru1KGJV Sep 18, 2019 at 10:24 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Silverado 5.3 V8. When I rev the truck the oil
pressure gauge goes up to 80PSI. And that’s
around 4000 RPM’s. PSI while going highway
speeds at about 1500 RPM’s is about 55-60. Any
suggestions?
