Trans problem?

This problem is inconsistent.. some days when
driving at high speeds..  I have no over drive..  I do
65 at 2500 rpms if it stays at high rpms the trans
fluid hot light comes on.. some days it shifts fine
an drives fine.
Recently .. it got even worse to where I only had
1st gear doing 45 at 5000 rpms..

Best to just take it to a trany shop for proper diagnosis. Could be as simple as changing the trany fluid and filter.
