Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I've been having problems with my truck 2001 chevy s1500 4.3 had replaced the fuel
pump when it went out. Since then i've had nothing but issues sometimes going down
the road after been running for 10 mins or so it stalls out and can recrank it several
more times each running a short bit before it no longer will. Ignition module tested ok
at autozone, Throttle position sensor shows a clean sweep on the voltages. But right
now in the driveway i have no spark and fuel pump is not activating. I'm pulling my
hair out. Please help I will do what is asked tomorrow.
Thanks,
Jason

Ok found a relay to Fpump bad by using the horn to test them all. Fuel pump back in action, but no spark. Replaced worn plug wires yesterday no change. I am getting 12v at Ignition control module and crankshaft sensor. All fuses under hood and dash pass continuity.
Sound,s like the ICM,you checked it for volt,s but that does not mean it is firing to plug, etheir this or your igintion switch.

I did take it to autozone and they ran the test 4 or 5 times they said it was good should I try it again or goto advance auto and let them try? Where is the ignition switch you mean where the key is?
Yes,where key is,have that ICM checked again, then check the key cylinder.

update. Check resistances on coil 5.8k pin1 to plug boot. pins 1 and 3 1.1 ohms test light on white wire when cranking flashes light. I now have spark and when i press on plug motor dies. So I'll get a new connector and see how that goes. Thanks a bunch
