Truck keeps shutting off

A few days ago I went to the store turned off the
truck went in to do what I had to, and when I came
back to leave there was no lights, no crank nothing
so I opened the hood and started messing with the
battery posts and it turned on but would die after
like 5 seconds and I started it again and same
thing. So I turned it on again and stepped on the
gas and I had to take the truck with my foot on the
gas and on the breaks at the same time or else it
would die......and today it did it again I'm not sure
what the problem is ...
Oh and the vacuum hose that goes to the fuel
regulator was leaking fuel idk why
