Truck will turn over but won't start. Please help

Asked by GuruKXY2 Apr 29, 2017 at 10:19 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have fire. Swapped fuel pump relay with wiper
relay and wiper work. No fuel pressure. No noise
from fuel pump relay or fuel pump.  Don't have
code reader.

Check the wiring and connections, a lot of time it is a ground issue. The power for the fuel pump comes from the ECU, trace the wiring back to there, check the connection.

With time and weather permitting I will check the ground. I need to get a light meter to see if the ground going to the relay is good. That might help in this matter. The funny thing is it just stopped working no issues before to point to a shorted wire. The wife pulled the truck in the yard and you know the rest of the story. I will let you know how the ground check goes of if in need any help.. Thanks man
