Dead Battery

Asked by Jordon Jul 18, 2016 at 11:13 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD LT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 chevy silverado 1500 hd and the
battery dies over night. I replaced the battery and
the alternator, the problem remains. I have
removed the fuses for the radio, cigarette lighters,
and sunroof (there isn't one one the truck but I
have a fuse for it), with no luck. Has anyone else
had this problem or a similar one?

This can be found, but you will need a ohm meter to find the draw, place ohm meter on battery, you should see a draw from it,then start removing each fuse one at a time untill the draw stop,s,if you hit the right fuse you have found the issue,if one of the fuse,s dont stop the draw after checking all of them,it will be starter.
