should I change the Allison Trans filters and fulids if not having any issues--178k miles I'm been the only owner

Check your owners manual. That IS a lot of miles, but transmission fluid does not 'wear out'. Pull dipstick and if it is a nice red color and has no 'burnt' odor..well...you are likely fine. If you do choose to change, drain and fill, do NOT Flush. Cleaning/replacing filter screen means dropping pan, and if there are no problems, shifts fine, no need for that. If you have pulled a trailer, or lots of heavy loads, drain and fill regardless.
