check power to the coil~...ignition switch...battery cable....something barely makes contact...might be grounding...the black cable going to the block might need a cleaning~

Turns off when you let off the gas like stopping at a red light or stop sign? If so possibly dirty throttle plate or dirty/faulty idle air control valve.

Fuel pumps go Kaput~ they do not dilly-dally along performing this- and-that...just QUIT~ so that's why I ruled that out initially~ don't remember these having a thermo-time switch or anything funky like that~ so affect your repairs then give dandy a slap for thinking about throttle plates~ mmm breakfast on a throttle plate~

IAC's don't dally...just quit also~...have never had problems with the intake air, in my recollection...but Dandy, gotta hand it to you, you're on your game~...I'm just an under the old oak tree mechanic~ or used to before diagnosed with MS and taken out of the workforce~

Heck I just an old shade tree myself. And I highly respect all your input and great paintings.

this one I guess could be considered "shade tree" is from the Anderson marsh state park...in which perhaps 25 of my paintings come from..NO, they are not sexy Nudes....they're just buildings and really have NO opinion~ just finished painting 291...once it dries will post that one...gettin' simple now SUN paintings always are keen, as the Power of the Sun cannot be underestimated~

291-penguin....appear to have gone simple on ya~ not concerned with the usual Isometric projection as much...just a quick feelgood with the SUN~ thanks gang for allowing ART in this Free world~

I have a 2007 Ford Mustang convertible base with approx 120K miles new transmission and engine valve covers. Also replaced plugs and wires and fuel pump recently. After two long trips and this only happens after a long trip, the engine will just shut off while driving at 50 mph. After pulling over to side of road and engaging flashers, I was able to restart the engine right away?

2006 mustang with new transmission, injectors, spark plugs, oxygen sensors, new keys and ignition. Full clean of engine new time chains I’m not sure if that’s the correct name for it but it’s new. The car continues to shit down wild at a stop sign or red light. The car turns on but it shit down again. Then it eventually turns on and runs and then when it feels like it again it shuts down again. Got a diagnostic by 3 different mechanics they all say it continues to show sensors that were replaced and they don’t know what’s wrong. They suggested I take it to a ford dealer. Does anyone else has this problem? I don’t know if perhaps it’s the vehicle computer that’s damaged or corrupted
