like the battery was too weak

Asked by TulsaFirebird Apr 03, 2016 at 09:46 PM about the 1994 Ford Crown Victoria 4 Dr LX Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1994 Crown Victoria 5.0 liter......without any
warning car acts as if there is not enough juice to
start engine as if battery has just crossed that
line....cables and posts clean and double checked
ground wire...although old battery worked on other
car with smaller engine...I bought a new more
powerful battery and tried it with same results and
that is, it did not change results I got...I have
confidence that someone has the answer I need
so, thanks for letting me talk and for the
information I'm about to receive

Thanks for that answer...wish I would have asked before I spent $135.00 for a non-redundable battery from Walmart (they didn't tell that once you hook it up once there is no return (makes difficult on fixed income) (maybe someone will know that so they won't waste their money)...so I now must be very discriminant with spending...so I want more info like if it has anything to do with solenoid or related.....much appreciated

New starter will come with the starter solinoid on it but sounds more like the brushes in the starter are bad.
