No the fuel filter was not replaced. I took the Escape to AutoZone and they ran a diagnostic and the code came back as P1744 - TCC System Mechanically Stuck in Off Position, so it is saying to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor...the only thing is there is and input and output Speed Sensor, so how can I determine if it is the input or output speed sensor? The O/D light on my Escape has been flashing intermittently for quite some time now, long before the fuel pump was replaced. Occasionally the O/D light will start flashing once the car gets warm. This has been going on for years and it happens occasionally, so can that be what is causing the car to have a hard start since the fuel pump was replaced?
