what can cause my 3.0 v6 ford escape to be hesitant when i push down on gas and then suddenly the power kics in back after about 5 seconds. It like its not getting enough gas at the start!

Check your fuel pressure, throttle cable, throttle position sensor, MAFS, and O2 sensors.
