My 2003 Ford Exedition Eddie B starts to shake, and then the battery light comes on and the truck dies. Battery and charging station are new. Any suggestions?

If I can get the truck into park fast enough, and give it gas, it will stay on.  I have a quick road trip tomorrow and need a fast solution.  A rep at a car shop told me to put a can of coke over the connections and give a tap.  For some reason, the battery seems to get a lot of corrosion. Other electrical problems are passenger window moves slowly, and seat heater just stopped working.  Lights used to stay on and kill the battery, but that seems to have stopped recently. Thank you in advance!

Coke,poured on them is not a good solution,take cables, loose and clean them with a wire brush,or battery post cleaner,coke doe,s remove biult up corrosion from battery,but will come back sticky and with more later.
