2003 Ford Explorer - Rhythmic thumping noise under.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced all 4-wheel bearings, rear differential, rear axle, drive shaft
& all 4-tires. None of these has resolved the issue. Its a rhythmic thumping
noise that doesn't start until after I have him about 45mph (depending on
the day). On colder days, it seems to take longer before the thumping
starts. And will then continue whether I am accelerating/decelerating. Also,
when coming to a quicker stop the thumping becomes excessive and
sounds like a loud banging sound in the rear. Not sure if maybe the issue is
the transfer case or front differential?

Anyway to lift the car and run the wheels off the ground to locate the sounds.....

Yes - I have done that as well which is why that rear diff and drive shaft was replaced. But still the thumping continues.

I am also having this problem but when I turn the wheel to the left it thumps extremely hard and it barely does at all when I turn it to the right! (While driving) and also when it's in park it idles under the 1? Almost sounds like it's going to die! Replaced the fuel pressure sensor today cause that's what the codes said and I literally have no idea what's going on with the thumping!?
