CD Player Not Working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Ever since I got the family 2006 Explorer Limited and long since we purchased the vehicle, the CD player never worked (That we know of). CD's get stuck in the player and it doesn't play or eject. Radio only works. Any possible fixes other than replacing it??? If I were to replace it, where could I get a replacement?

Check ebay, I'm sure you can find a used OEM one that will slide right in. It probably won't be cost effective to have it repaired, even if you found someone to do it.
I heard there was a way to fix it by like unplugging it and resetting it, would that fix it?
Worth a try and it's free, but I doubt it will work.
