is transmission changeover from cvt to six speed possible.

have ford 500 with cvt transmission that is bad. would like to replace with six speed, but do not know if computer will allow change.

The way I understand it I'm getting ready to swap to 6 speed the computer will allow it it will work perfectly fine but you will have a traction control tight on because 6 speed has a different Vin stored inside you need to change flywheel transmission mounts and cut one wire off the plug to the transmission trust many people did it plus new passenger cv axle
