what to do to increase faster horsepower and better performance

i would like to customize my 2005 ford 500, anyone have any good ideas out their??

Call your dealer and see if they offer a chip upgrade. Sometimes all you need is a new chip.
and it would be a programmer for the computer, not a chip. chips haven't been used in over 10 years. your car was built as a family sedan, not a performance car. there is no aftermarket support for it.

You have to be a true ford enthusiast to know this answer, but the files contour comes with a 2.5 duretec, in which the heads, manifols, etc mount directly to the 3.0 duretec motor, now I'm not saying just direct swap and go, you will have to do exhaust, and other stuff to account the more combustion, in the end you would end up with around 275-300 crank horsepower, now you have to make sure your cvt transmission will handle this more power, but that would be a great combination especially if you have the awd five hundred,
