Can I put a different Ford Focus engine in my 2002?

I have a 2002 Ford Focus [with P as the eighth digit in the vin] I bought without an engine. Can I put a different Ford Focus engine it? Will everything bolt up without modifications?

probably, but you'll need the wiring harnesses ecu, exhaust, etc that goes with the engine you want to put in. Possibly evev transmission and cv shafts.

Maybe I should clarify a bit....Can I purchase another 2002 Ford Focus engine, just with a different (eighth digit on the vin)model. And get that to work in it with the existing transmission and other parts?
