Car over heated had no water in it

If your car was running hot and you shut it off before adding coolant or water you may have seized the engine. Contact your local tow service and a mechanic you trust. Your engine had no way to cool down and you turned it off with the metal parts at super high heat. It might have seized, warped or damaged the engine. If water is pouring out the hose was bad and or the water pump and that is how you lost the fluids.

That is very accurate and thorough answer. On a positive side, the Taurus SE's had the all cast iron Vulcan engine which might survive this kind of severe event. I hope it turns out okay.
