It did a sort of weird
downshift then just stopped.
It again won't start or turn

I have an '06 Touring Conv. and I've had almost never ending electrical issues. When it died, did the RPMs stay at idle (1500+/-) or drop back to zero? It is probably the battery. Do some research because I found out that my trim doesn't have an alternator. It has a generator and it is killing the batteries that keep getting installed. Look for an AGM battery. They are markedly more expensive though.
