05 PT cruiser 2.4 Turbo timing belt keeps slipping off after replacement

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Another mechanic worked previously on this car, supposably he changed the timing
belt and tensioners and water pump. Right after he repaired it, the timing belt started to
wear out. Now the car is in my hands and I changed all tensioners and the timing belt
just keeps slipping off. I contacted the dealer and apparently they have never heard of
this before, they say it has never happened. This car is really draining me because I
have no idea what might be the source of the problem.
