What could be the problem?

Drove my van home, later went to go somewhere and engine would not turn over. I can
hear the stater relay click, but nothing happens.  All dash lights come on, windows work,
but starter does not energize!  Relay is good.....what else can I check?

remove starter and have tested if it is good then you have a short or low battery not dead but low
