Pistons hit heads what's the best way to fix

I am guessing you meant that you had valves hit the pistons. If so you would have bent valves and maybe damaged pistons. At the very least I would rebuild the heads and install new valves to replace the bent ones. If the pistons cannot be reused you are looking at new pistons and rings as well. What happened?

Make sure you have the correct pushrods. You don't say if this is a new overhaul or what work was done to it or if it just happened while driving it.
