I have a 1990ford foxbody. Had stereo put in now it runs my battery down if car sits for 2 days.installed new battery no help. Something on that fuse line is killing battery.

Most stereos have two hot wires. The main power wire is switched when the key is off. The other one is just for the clock. If you got it wrong this might be the problem. Measure the amp draw when the key is off with the stereo fuse in and out.
