My 1994 GMC Sierra driver side door will not open from the outside or inside. How do you get inside

How do you get inside the door when the linkage is either broken or jumped off on the drover side door on a 1994 GMC Sierra equipped with power windows and locks?  You can not open the door from the inside or outside.

You have to try and remove door panel to get to latch to open no fun at all

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them
