Repair of 1996 GMC Sierra - multiple issues

How could i get an extensive manual on the repair of a 1996 GMC Sierra?
Not the owners manual, but something more in-depth. My pickup has several
issues, but I cant seem to figure out how exactly to go about describing/fixing
them. There's an issue with the transmission, where the gaskets or seal is
loose or broken, and the fluid is leaking rapidly. There is also an issue with
the battery; it will drain inexplicably in under a day, without fail.

youtube has many repair videos...just type in year and make of car and problem
