can I sell my car with a timing chain problem?
I have a 2005 Audi A6. it has approximately 130000 miles. last week, the engine was
making a DADADADA sound. so I drove to the dealer, and they told me it was the
timing chain and the estimate cost of fixing it is about $5000. That number shocked me.
i want to trade-in this car while getting another car. But i'm not very sure whether this is
a serious problem or not that the dealer will cut the price off to a very low amount......
the car is still drivable, and sound is not that big. But that dealer told me the engine
might die someday if the timing chain breaks.
Anyone has any experience before?
