what crate engine will replace 1997 gmc 350 5.7 5700 vortec

i have a 1997 gmc sierra with the 350 vortec I am wanting to replace engine with crate motor without changing computer I have all pully assembly alt,ac,etc. intake manifolds exaust manifolds just want to replace engine with compatiple motor that is brand new. any help would be appreciated

ok so if I look it up on ebay what would I put in to pull it up sorry always loved working on trucks just never replaced entire engine so got a lot of questions and as long as I have the vortex heads on the block(crate) engine my current manifolds and intake will keep current computer same

alright I appreciate the heads up one more question best place to start looking then lol sorry that's a lot of money to just piss away on a bs warrenty

Hey im in the same boot as this guy. If i buy a 350 vortec 3/4 ton will it bolt up in to my transmission in my 96 tahoe...
