the cable is somehow part of the positive battery cable, it runs off into the cab. it was
disconnected from the battery and i need to know how to fix it?

so did it break off or is it just simply not connected? if it broke off youl have to see a car electricain to install a new one properly. other wise you may be looking at a whole new harness for hte postive termianl system.
