How much would it be to replace a oil line on a 2002 audi a6

Asked by Ohheyyitskatie Dec 08, 2015 at 10:32 AM about the 2002 Audi A6 2.7T quattro Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought my audi in February and when I
bought the car they told me the car had
recently had the timing belt replaced at
98,000 miles. I got my oil changed 3 months
ago and after that I had a oil leak. The place
that did my oil change did something wrong
and now I leak oil like it's nothing. The only
place near me that fixes audis is telling me I
need both my timing belt replaced and the
oil line. He estimated it would cost me
about $2000 for both repairs but won't give
me an estimate to JUST have the oil line
replaced. Any info would help me. I'm a
woman so these car places are just trying to
get more money out of me than I need to
pay. Thank you.
