My Audi 2001 a6 quattro 2.7 liter dosent want to start after being run

Asked by miguelrosas9612 Nov 14, 2013 at 09:04 PM about the 2001 Audi A6 2.7T quattro Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had this car for a while and this problem started over a month ago. The car will
start up when its cold but after being run the car wont start for over two or three hours.
I had the codes checked and all that was showing was a MAF sensor code but they
told me that couldn't cause the problem. I don't have any clue what it could be
someone said it could be a thermostat problem but i don't know please help?

~Thought that I'd be a thermo-time switch...but cannot locate one of these for your car....but would be a thermal-electric-sensor type device gone wrong~
