I'm being quoted $1,259 to service my time chain on my new 2004 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2...all parts and labor included. Is this a good price?

If it is for the timing BELT that is about right,If you have a timing CHAIN that is low. I would need to do some research as I do not remember off the top of my head the cutoff for Audi going from belt to chain.Timing belt setup is in the front of the engine next to the radiator. If it's a chain that involves dropping the engine and separating the transmission to gain access to the chain setup? As the chains are located at the rear of the engine in between the engine and transmission.
