why wont my car shift into gear

i have a 2001 audi a6 2.7 turbo  6 speed. it wont
shift into gear  when i press on the clutch  or
anything idk if my clutch is bad or my tranny can
be too does anyone know what the problem might

Modern clutches are similar to your brakes, just smaller. Try looking under your hood on the firewall on the drivers side. You should see a small reservoir. Check to make sure it is full of brake fluid. Good luck. Amie

Yes that small reservoir is called the clutch master cylinder if it is empty most likely there is a leak in the system the clutch master cylinder is leaking or the slave cylinder.
