2003 GMC Yukon Won't Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Left key in truck overnight in the on position. Charged the battery. No lights
on the dashboard and the engine made no sound. My s put his battery (same
kind) in my truck. It started right up. His truck did not start when we put my
battery in his truck. I purchased a new battery. My truck started on the first try.
I went back a couple of hours later and it would not start. Lights on the dash
came on until I tried to start the engine. It did not start and all dashboard
lights went out. My truck was running well until this happened. Do you have
any suggestions on what to check next?
