power windows

My back passenger window will not roll up
or down ive took the panel off and i seen a
cable laying down in the bottom of the door.
When u press the up button u can hear the
motor running and when u go down u ca?
hear it. Does the cable hook to the window
somewhere or?

the cable should have a small ball or "t" on the end that may have come out of it's holder which connects to the "scissor" type lift that raises the window .
