I'm trying to figure out what has happened. My jeep
won't start unless the check engine light comes on
and you have to turn the key on and off on and off
on and off and finally it'll comes on and it will start
but now it has completely died no matter how
many times I turn the key on and off the check
engine light will not come on I don't know what to
do does anyone know anything that could help
me? I thought maybe ASD relay or ECM

It was my ECM, changed it and I'm back on the road
Yes I had to return it but we did open it up and it was all cracked inside and had a blister like it got to hot
Then I recommend that you check the charging system, make sure its regulating the voltage, and of course computer, sensor grounds and make sure there isn't any intermittent shorts in the reference voltage wiring, you don't want to roast a new computer.
I bought that computer 10 years ago, it was time for a new one
My 2009 grand Cherokee turns over but won't start. In both instances I used remote start it did start I then use key fab it turns over but does not start. The first time we used starter fluid to get it to crank over and inter changed relays no problem for a week then the second time it wouldn't start with starter fluid use. Towed to garage next day mechanic got in and it started right up. Diagnostic is not indicating any codes. Help!
